Peace of England in the sunny side of the world
Budget staying is the way to travel
Miami offers many types of accommodations, and travelling here does not have to be that expensive than people think. Most motels come with a nice standard rooms, they have little fridges in them, they have the pool and they have got the friendly atmosphere to stay in.
If you know where you want to go, it's worth of looking from the local directories the motels and then just surf the net for the prices. Motel 6 offers the affordable $42.71 per night a room with a queen size bed, roomy space, television and morning cafe. There is no cooking facilities, but there are grocery shops around from the little distance of walking and the things you need to keep in the fridge can be kept down stairs in the big fridge. Some motels do have micro wave in the room and if you want to go posh, you can get the room with a little cooking space in it too, but that of coarse is a bit more money.
There is a public transport available and if you feel really adventurous, you can take a bus and see where the road leads.
The motel where I am staying, has a local attraction which was a surprise for me and not advertised anywhere. There is a population of local monkeys who come to eat daily from the guests. The story tells that there was a zoo for a long time ago and when it was closed down by the local council, the owner set some animals free. The monkeys are friendly and no person has ever been hurt by them, but they still are wild animals, so care should be taken when interacting with them.
The motel is also pet friendly and many guests stay here with their dogs, so if your pooch has the passport, you can take him in here.
All around the budget travelling is a good option if you don't want to splash a lot of money and in the way is more rewarding, because everything is not carried to you on the plate, so to speak, and you get to see the real face of the place.
